Turquoise Mountain Mine Turquoise Pendant - P661

There is only 1 item left in stock.

The Turquoise Mountain Mine is located near the Kingman mine in Northwestern Arizona and has been closed since the 1980's. The stone varies from light to high blue or blue-green with gold or brown matrix. This beautiful stone is highlighted with rare spider web matrix.

The Turquoise Mountain stone in this stunning pendant is high grade as indicated by the gradual variation from soft blue to green in the same stone. Navajo artist Sampson Jake created this beautiful piece. The stunning Turquoise Mountain stone is surrounded by a handcrafted bezel of twisted rope, cutout work and silver drops. The stone and bezel measures 1 & 1/4" tall (NOT including the bail) by 7/8" at the widest point. The 1/4" bail has a 6mm opening. Crafted entirely of sterling silver. The 18" sterling silver chain, valued at $38 is included! Hallmarked "JS" and ".925" on the back. Sampson's initials are reversed so as not to be confused with another Navajo artist, Selena Jake, who uses hallmark "SJ".
