Turquoise Mountain Mine Turquoise Pendant - P424

There is only 1 item left in stock.

The Turquoise Mountain Mine is located near the Kingman mine in Northwestern Arizona and has been closed since the 1980's.  The stone varies from light to high blue or blue-green with gold or brown matrix. This is a lovely pendant by Navajo artist Sampson Jake. Hallmarked "JS" and ".925" on the back. The initials are reversed on Sampson's hallmark because "SJ" is used by another artist Selina Jake. He has done a very detailed job with the sterling silver bezel of twisted rope, silver drops and cut out work. THE 18" STERLING SILVER CHAIN IS INCLUDED! Pendant and bezel measures 1" by 3/4". The bail has an 8mm opening.
