The Pilot Mountain Turquoise Mine is located in Northern Nevada and produces a very hard and highly sought after deep blue-green turquoise. First discovered in 1905 by William Miller of Tonopah, Nevada. The incredible stone in this ring is surrounded by a thick silver bezel with twisted silver rope, elaborate cut out and scallop work. Hallmarked "WBV" and ".925" by Navajo artist Wil Vandiver. The stone and bezel measures 1 & 1/8" by 3/4". Crafted entirely of sterling silver with a 5 shank band accented with a sunburst on each side.
