This is a stunning, slightly worn, sterling silver ring adorned with a large, tear drop shape turquoise stone from the long since closed Number 8 mine. The back of the band has a few slight scratches from normal wear. Otherwise, the ring is in perfect condition. The amazing stone itself is the centerpiece of the eye-catching ring. The tight, brown, spider web matrix along with the beautiful blue-green color makes it unmistakably Number 8 turquoise. Encased in a sterling silver bezel and set atop a wide, comfortable, 6 shank split band. Hallmarked "LJ" under the bezel, which, I'm sorry, is covered by the soldered shanks. Stamped "Sterling" inside the band. Handmade by Navajo artist Lucy Jake. The stone and surrounding bezel measures 1" by 1/2" at the widest point. Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. SOLD
Can be resized by the artist for a nominal $15 fee billed separately through PayPal. Rings that are resized cannot be returned.
