The Crow Springs turquoise mine near Tonopah, Nevada is a small mine discovered in 1909 and is considered a rare turquoise. This beautiful medium blue-green Crow Springs turquoise stone is surrounded by a masterfully crafted wide bezel of twisted rope and scalloped stamp work. Hand crafted entirely of sterling silver. Hallmarked "T. Skeets" and "Sterling" by young Navajo artist Tatum Skeets whose name is quickly becoming one to remember. A certificate of authenticity is included. The stone and surrounding bezel measures 1 & 1/8" tall by 3/4" wide. The stone measures 3/4" by 1/2". The generously sized 1/2" bail has an 8mm opening.
